Alan is an experienced and highly regarded advisory and business lawyer, with a wealth of experience in corporate and commercial law.

Alan was a partner at (the predecessor firms to what was recently) Blake Dawson before it became Ashursts and set up and ran the firm's London office in the 90's. Alan is also well recognised for his professional and personal achievements.

Alan was President of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Law Council of Australia, and a Councillor of the International Bar Association. He is also an Honorary Life Member of both the Law Institute of Victoria and the American Bar Association.

Alan has also held directorships and a chairmanship in a number of publicly listed companies and government business entities and was also Chairman of the ASX Appeals Tribunal.
